Building a Writing Life: How and Where to Start
This class is designed for new and emerging writers who want to discover the basics for building a writing life. By studying methods taught in many creative writing programs, participants will learn how to build routines that make writing a daily practice. This class will support the dreams of thosewho want to write fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and poetry. No experience required, just a desire to find your voice.
This class will begin on October 4th through October 24th with live Zoom sessions held on Tuesday nights (October 5th, 12th, & 19th) from 7:00-8:30

Jayne Moore Waldrop is the author of Retracing My Steps and Pandemic Lent: A Season in Poetry (both from Finishing Line Press),and the forthcoming Drowned Town from Fireside Industries, an imprint of University Press of Kentucky in partnership with Hindman Settlement School. She is a graduate of the Murray State University MFA in Creative Writing Program.
